How much does an AGA cost to run?
Running costs vary depending on the model, how you use it and your electricity tariff. Modern electric AGA cookers are fully programmable, helping you use only the energy you need. Using the hotplates on demand can reduce overall running costs by up to 50%.
Depending on electricity tariffs and individual household usage, the cast-iron, heat-storage AGA cookers we sell today typically cost around £25–£30 per week to run, and in many homes the cost can be even lower. (Based on an electricity price of 26.32p per kWh, October 2026.)
What is the difference between the AGA models?
Every AGA cooker is built around the same cast-iron cooking principles.
